About the location

JMR Royal

JMR Royal's architecture combines authentic period details with today's comfort, without compromise. The building dates from the 1920s and was fully restored and renovated in 2018. All exterior design elements were preserved and restored. Classic style appears in chandeliers, upholstery and sculpted solid wood furniture, with a different arrangement in each room. The nine units include rooms, suites, the REGAL and VERONA apartments with kitchens, and the 107 m² MONALISA loft. Five units have a private sauna. You complete online check-⁠in before arrival using the link sent to you right after booking. Entry is by personal codes sent by WhatsApp or SMS. There is no physical reception desk. The JMR team is available 24/7 by phone and WhatsApp for questions and help during your stay. Assisted reception also takes bookings by phone.

What the guest liked: Everything, it is close to the center, it’s clean, comfortable. It has a vintage-goth vibe (at least the room I’ve stood in). It was nice for some insta stories too. I’d say it has pretty much everything for a nice stay.

What the guest disliked: Maybe it’s just me, but even with the AC on heat working the entire time it was still super cold 😭😭 I do get it that the ceiling is very high and it’s hard to heat the room, but I didn’t expect it to be this cold and I’m bathroom I was freezing 😞
